THE SPIRIT SCHOLARSHIP ( up to 100% of fees covered )

Full eligibility and application information below.

The Spirit Scholarship
The Spirit Scholarship is a one-year, financial support programme designed to help talented and committed young performers attend Spirit YPC'S Weekly Musical Theatre Program.
Each academic year, Spirit offers the equivalent of two full scholarships up to the value of £2,640 each.
These may be divided into smaller percentages across multiple students, depending on the strength of applications and individual circumstances. This flexible structure allows Spirit to support a wider range of talented young performers each year.
Unlike the Spirit Low Income Support Scheme, scholarships are limited, audition-based awards intended for students who demonstrate exceptional potential, commitment and suitability for training.
Scholarship Application Info
WHO CAN APPLY?
The scholarship programme is open to current and new students, aged 7–19, whose household financial circumstances may otherwise limit access to top-tier performing arts training.
AM I ELIGIBLE?
Performers are eligible to audition if they would otherwise struggle to afford this level of performing arts training.
To assess this, we consider combined household income alongside wider financial circumstances, including the number of dependants within the household and any additional factors that may impact access to training opportunities.
Please see the table below for our Household Income Guidelines:

Larger households and exceptional financial circumstances may be considered outside of the published guidelines, at the discretion of the Spirit team.
Shortlisted finalists will be required to provide supporting financial documentation as part of the final assessment process.
